Tis the season

I have always wondered what to do with my scrap yarn balls. This plagues many crocheters & I think I found the cure for this.
As many of you know I work in an assisted living community & we always do a community project. We are helping the Cleveland foodbank & coats for kids.
I have made at least 20 hats & 15 scarves all of various sizes for children and adults. I’m also planning on making a few more for home instead to give to their seniors.

These are just a few of the hats and scarves I’ve made.

As crocheters we have been given a great gift that we can share with others and create handmade treasures for others. I hope that this holiday season and everyone after that you share this gift with others. Please pay it forward.

I hope everyone has a blessed holiday season and happy hooking.

Happy 2015

So this year has started to become a bit busy. I’ve been crocheting more & more but also trying to find a better job than what I currently have. I really need to make my business a full time job but its not really there yet. I’m tired of working for someone who doesn’t care about their employees & just cares about the money.

In other news I’ve been making more slippers for baby & kids. I’m thinking of making a Mom & Me slipper set. So far so good on that. I have tons of WIPS but nothing really close to being finished.

We had a great Christmas & New Years. The kiddos spoiled me bad lol. I got to relax a bit when they were home. We played tons of games & played with all the new toys we got. How was your holidays?

Well time to get back to those slippers.
Happy Hooking all,

Holiday addiction

I have to admit I am a pinterest addict. I have found way too many things on there that I want to make, eat & do with my kids. My recent obsession is with this cute crocheted trees. I have already made a few as teachers gifts but I can’t stop making them lol. Help I think I need an intervention or a new item to crochet lol.

I found this on pinterest & thought it would be the cutest thing for a little girl or boy this holiday. I have made a few dolls for my kids over the years but for some reason these looked so adorable. I see another item going up in my shop soon.

I hope everyone has a wonderful rest of your day & happy crafting.
